CRHDC’s Personal Financial Fitness series, sponsored by the Key Bank Foundation, is an education program that enables consumers to gain control of their money and finances. It is a four (4) part education series that introduces individuals to financial terminology and concepts, successful financial practices, and teaches individuals to better understand their own money values. Classes are taught in a friendly and open environment to encourage participants to ask questions and improve skills as a consumer in managing money and achieve financial fitness goals.
Participants will get education on how to avoid financial pitfalls, achieve financial dreams, set financial goals, create a spending plan (budget), establish and maintain credit, save, and invest. Free credit and financial counseling sessions are available to class participants. Individuals that graduate from the program and attend a free counseling session receive a $50 U.S. savings bond.
